Position Information:

Job Title: Lead Analyst - SAP Support

Location: Orange, CT

Salary Range: $114,300 - $142,900

Schedule: On Site - Office

Job Summary

The Lead Analyst – SAP Support role, under limited supervision, coordinates and provides timely, high quality Information Technology (IT) application solutions that satisfy business and regulatory requirements.  This role is response for leading application software analysis, design, implementation and maintenance, project management and system integration.  Position also provides consultation and advice to internal business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the development, maintenance, integration and enhancement of software applications within project deadlines, including scope definition, requirements definition, research, business area analysis, data and processes modeling, specification preparations, estimating, coding, testing, etc.
  • Helps coordinate day-to-day tasks involved in monitoring, exception reporting and resolution of problems in the production operation, communicating with internal business areas, external service providers and other IT areas.
  • Develops and recommends innovative business solutions and alternatives for complex problems resulting in efficient, economical business processes.
  • Interfaces with business areas to help manage expectations, facilitate resolution of issues and prioritize work.
  • Supports proposal preparation, resource management, project plan/schedule development and maintenance, risk assessment, change management and issue management.
  • Leads, mentors and coaches lower-level applications staff.  Performs day-to-day supervision in absence of project/group manager.  May train less-skilled analysts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.  
  • Project management and leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications (i.e., Microsoft Office), Mainframe and/or client server technical experience.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, structured query tools,
  • Mainframe & Distributed Report Tools, Visual Basic, Pardox,
  • Results and proactive .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
