The Laundry Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing laundry equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Duties:

• Maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironers, boilers, extractors, presses, stackers and tunnel systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
• Rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, and other components using knowledge of steam and thermal systems.
• Keep maintenance records of repairs and replacements of laundry equipment.
• Follow equipment manuals and technical guidelines accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding equipment status.
• Monitor equipment for potential issues and report unsafe conditions to the manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of .
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in laundry maintenance or a similar field.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams and policies.
• Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting and working in hot environments.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
