This role involves handling complex
federal environmental litigation
matters, with a preference for civil enforcement experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, enforcement strategies, and administrative law. This position offers direct client engagement and requires independence in managing projects with minimal supervision.
Location:

Duties:
Handle
environmental litigation matters
at the federal level.
Analyze
complex regulatory schemes
and develop strategic legal arguments.
Provide counsel on
federal enforcement approaches
used by agencies and the Department of Justice.
Conduct
legal research, drafting, and case strategy development .
Engage in
client interactions , including advising on litigation strategies.
Manage litigation projects independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Experience:
2-6 years in
environmental litigation
(civil enforcement ).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with
federal environmental and administrative law .
Government-Side Enforcement Experience:
but not required.
Strong Writing & Research Skills:
Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex legal issues effectively.
Self-Starter:
Ability to
independently
manage projects and meet deadlines.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to a
U.S. State Bar
in good standing.
Skills:
Expertise in
environmental and administrative law .
Strong
legal research and writing abilities .
Ability to analyze
complex regulatory frameworks .
