Davidson Landscape Nursery, Inc. is a Full Service Landscape Contractor that has been in business for 30 years. We operate in the Triad Area and take pride in our work. We are looking for a dedicated Landscape Installation Crew Leader that can lead a crew, stage jobs, and stand responsible for their team members. This candidate will be the point of contact for daily operations. This candidate will work collaboratively with Operations, Management and team.

Must have Minimum 1 Year of Experience

$24.00 -$29.00 / hour

Full Time (Year-Round Work) Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00

Employee Characteristics:

• Must have Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
• Good Record Keeping Skills to Manage Materials and Expenses, strong knowledge of Landscape Construction
• Hardscaping, Outdoor lighting, Irrigation, Building retaining walls, dry creek beds, etc.,
• Mechanical Skills are Necessary to Make Simple Repairs
• Good Communication Skills to Work with Crew, Supervisors and the Homeowners
• Must be able to Communicate Effectively
• Must be able to read plans and use scale rule

Employee Capabilities:

• Job Requires Heavy Lifting (50+lbs)
• Supervise the Moving of Bulky Items, such as Pesticides, Fertilizers, Seed, Pavers, Trees and Shrubs
• Job Requires Work Outdoors in all Kinds of Weather. If Work is not Possible during the Week, Saturday work will be Required.
• Use Various Tools: Saws, heavy earth moving equipment, etc.
• Be able to Drive/Backup Truck and Trailer

• Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to drive success and provide top notch quality of job proficiency
• Team Leader Experience
• Reliable Transportation to and from Work
• Be able to Manage Time/Projects, Complete Required Daily Reports and Follow Up with Supervisor
• Identifying Problems that Occur on Job Sites, Enforce Safety Protocol
• Must Have a Clean Driving Record/Clean Criminal Background

Job Type: Full-time
