Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and apply state, county, and local codes and ordinances.
Coordinate and prepare entitlement packages, applications, and agency submittals.
Process plats, maps, improvement plans, grading plans, and entitlements.
Maintain project task lists and prioritize planning activities.
Conduct research and coordinate planning and environmental proposal content.
Collaborate with in-house and external professionals to generate exhibits.
Oversee project timelines from pre-submittal through final approval and public hearings.
Act as liaison with clients, agency staff, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
Support Project Managers with timely updates and proactive coordination.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
35+ years of relevant planning or entitlement processing experience.
Strong knowledge of CEQA, zoning ordinances, and land use laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and mapping tools (e.g., Google Earth).
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A team-oriented mindset and a passion for high-quality service.
Motivation to grow professionally and learn from industry leaders.
Bonus Qualifications: Experience with environmental review processes and ability to create compelling visuals or planning exhibits.
