Land Cable Installation Engineer

Roles and responsabilities You will have to ensure that the project is well executed from a land cables installation perspective according to the right customer specifications, within the budget and agreed time schedule, as per the contract between the company and its customer the following tasks to perform: Finalization of the technical implementation of the installation of the HV Land cable system (before its implementation on site by the company installation teams/company subcontractors). Elaboration of the final technical installation documents / deliverables (General Arrangement / Layout drawings and Method statements / documents describing the installation method of the cable system in its installation environment (buried in trenches, in galleries, tunnels, underground electrical stations, etc.) Development of metallic structures drawings supporting the HV Cables and accessories in joint bays/electrical substations. Interfaces studies (at the entrance of the Land HV cables into the DC hall of the AC/DC Converter Station) and preparation of the relevant documents (drawings / method statements) for below points : o Civil Works Engineering o Cable pulling o Installation of the HV Accessories (joints / termination) o Installation of the electrical testing equipment (to test the HV link after its installation). Participation in technical meetings with our customers and subcontractors Qualifications: Engineering School with a specialty in Civil Engineering/materials / metallic structures (knowledge in Electrical Engineering is a plus) Fluent English and German Proficiency in Autocad, Mathcad is a plus Experience of minimum 5 years Experience with Infrastructure projects, and with TSO would be a plus Communication skills, taste for teamwork, rigor, and method
