Laborer - Construction

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $18-20/hr

Impact Materials, a construction materials wholesaler, has an immediate opening for a motivated Laborer to work at our Jersey City facility.

Position details include but not limited to:

• Shoveling and clearing debri around rock screening and crushing machines during operations.
• Greasing all greasable points on all production equipment as needed.
• Visual inspection, notification of issues, and repair or replacement of:
  • Rollers
  • Lines and hoses
  • Screens
  • Belts
• Fueling and adding DEF production machines.
• Fluid and air cleaner checks on all production machines.
  
• Site garbage and metal collection and disposal.
• Working outside in various climates performing physical labor.
• Radio communication via walkie talkies.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to follow directions pertaining to site safety.
  
• Have physical capabilities to lift 50 lbs.
• Be willing to perform well as a team member to achieve benchmark goals set forth by Site Supervisor.

Mechanical inclination a plus.

Must be wiling to consent to drug and background screening.

OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-hour certifications a plus.
