Laboratory Technician (Water)

About the Positions

Basis: Full Time & Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 12:30-9pm

Main duties will include but are not restricted to

• Working as part of a small team conducting routine water microbiological analysis including testing to Drinking Water Testing Specification.
• General laboratory duties e.g. daily calibration of equipment and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Assisting in media production and food microbiology laboratory when required.
• Occasional driving work to assist as cover for sample collections.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A full clean driving licence.
• Knowledge / previous experience of drinking water testing desirable but not essential as training provided
• A methodical approach and good attention to detail.
• Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office packages.
• The ability to work flexibly and reliably as part of a team.
• Previous laboratory experience with a knowledge of quality systems would be an advantage.
