Title-Lab Technician Sr. – 3rd Shift

Location: Sturgis, Michigan (49091)

Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Lab Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role involves performing laboratory testing, maintaining accuracy in data collection, and supporting quality and operational standards in a fast-paced lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests and analyses
• Accurately record, analyze, and report test results
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Prepare samples and reagents for testing
• Monitor and document lab processes and results
• Identify and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols
• Collaborate with team members and communicate findings effectively

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
• (Lab experience may include post-high school coursework)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Solid computer skills (data entry, documentation, basic systems)

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Overtime: Hours worked beyond 40 per week are paid at time and a half
