Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Duration: 02 months of contract with possible extension on W2

Location: 2700 W 16th Street, Sedalia, MO - 65301

Shift: 12-hour shifts - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (Week 1:  Mon, Thurs, Friday; Week 2:   Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun)

Interview: Onsite interview

NOTE: Please let the candidate know there's a chance the assignment will be extended for a longer time. Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent.

The soft skills the Manager is seeking include being a quick learner, a self-starter and demonstrating initiative.

EDUCATION (R= REQUIRED D = DESIRABLE):

High school diploma or equivalent (R)

Bachelor’s degree (D)

EXPERIENCE (R = REQUIRED D = DESIRABLE):

Experience in a physical testing lab (D)

Manufacturing experience (D)

Microsoft Office experience (R)

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Accomplished at performing and evaluating physical measurements (i.e. reading calipers); proficient in test equipment troubleshooting techniques, scientific record keeping, and routine report writing.

Strong computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.

Able to use MS Excel spreadsheets effectively, enter data in applications, and navigate basic file management systems.

Detail oriented and accurate. Able to follow standard work and procedures.

Self-motivated; able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

JOB DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Test, evaluate, and document the quality of incoming materials, intermediate products, and the general properties of finished goods. Support productivity improvement efforts by making process measurements, observations, and audits needed to support process investigations and experiments.
