The Laboratory Technician will perform tests to determine chemical composition of liquid or gaseous materials.

Responsibilities:

- Master the techniques and knowledge to be able to carry out all of the routine analyses required

- Handle all mathematical calculations associated with the routine procedures

- Carry out all analytical sampling procedures where required and when expected to do so

- Become familiar with the laboratory quality and safety

- Learn to recognize the unusual situation and to take appropriate action in reporting it to laboratory supervision

Requirements:

- HS Graduate or GED with a technical aptitude

- Must have relevant Laboratory background/experience

- Must have some computer skills

- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
