Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Processor to join our team. As a Processor, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures. Your expertise in medical terminology and laboratory techniques will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of samples.
Duties:
- Process and prepare samples for analysis using appropriate laboratory techniques
- Maintain accurate records of samples, tests, and results
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and accuracy
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Adhere to aseptic technique and safety protocols to prevent contamination or injury
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of samples
Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with laboratory management principles
- Ability to perform venipuncture and catheterization procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
