Job Summary:
The Director of Laboratory Operations oversees the daily administrative, technical, and personnel functions of the hospital laboratory, including Core Lab, Blood Bank, Phlebotomy, and Point of Care. this role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include quality management, staff development, budgeting, workflow optimization, and resolving operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science; ASCP or equivalent certification

• Minimum 6 years of clinical lab experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role

• Experience in high-complexity CLIA/CAP labs

• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA)

Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of quality control, lab operations, and regulatory standards

• Ability to manage budgets and lead cross-functional teams
