We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Director to join our team at our Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania location. This individual will provide direction and supervision for all the complex laboratory procedures required for provision of infertility care and In-Virto Fertilization (IVF).

Essential Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the operations of assigned IVF laboratory operations and performance.
• Ensures staffing that supports compliance with standards of care and regulatory guidelines; recruits, hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines professional laboratory staff and support staff.
• Plans and performs laboratory quality control (QC), quality assessment (QA) and participates in quality improvement (QI) programs, record keeping and collection of data. Analyzes data and implements plans for improvement.
• Participates in research on oocytes cryopreservation, oocyte maturation, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and related research.
• Performs other duties as assigned in keeping with Inception Fertility's policies, procedures and standards of patient care and initiatives toward continuous improvement at the individual and organizational level.
• Supports and actively participates in initiatives designed to improve individual and organizational performance.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in laboratory science required; PhD degree .
• 5+years prior experience in human IVF laboratory.
• Must have HCLD certification.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work effectively and professionally under pressure and without close supervision.
• Previous management experience is required, managing a team in a laboratory setting.
