Now Hiring: Laboratory Clerk
Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 4 Months Contract
Chances of Extension or Conversion
Location: Lake Success, NY 11042
Scheduled: Total 40 hours per week
Shift: 10am to 6pm, Regular Day Shift, M-F
Hourly compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 Per hour.
Responsibilities:
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
· Resolve issues, complaints, and service problems professionally
· Provide accurate information about lab services, procedures, and results
· Process test orders, specimen requests, or client account information
· Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions
· Coordinate with lab technicians or pathologists to ensure timely service
· Verify and update customer information in databases
· Support billing or logistics teams as needed
· Follow confidentiality and regulatory compliance protocols (e.g., HIPAA)
· Contribute to improving customer service workflows and documentation
