Job Title: Laboratory Cleaner



Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston



Contract Details: Part Time/Permanent



Working Hours: The hours are 12 per week



Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am - 1.30pm. The days are set but we can be a little flexible with start and finish times depending on requirements.



Salary: £12.60 per hour (£7862.40 per annum/equivalent £24, 570 pro rata)

Responsibilities:

As a Laboratory Cleaner, you will:



Maintain cleanliness and organisation in laboratory spaces

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Regularly clean laboratory equipment and surfaces

Dispose of waste safely and efficiently

Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies

Support laboratory staff in maintaining a hygienic workspace



Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):



Previous cleaning experience in a laboratory or similar environment

Knowledge of health and safety protocols

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management skills



Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):



Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures

Certification in cleaning or sanitation practises

Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
