SALARY: $18.00 per hour

\n

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

\n

SCHEDULE: Part-Time, Mon+Fri+Sat, 8-hour shifts with start time between 9:00 AM–11:00 AM; Temp to hire

\n

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

\n

\n
• Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and test requests into the laboratory information system.

\n

• Receive, sort, organize, and route specimens for laboratory testing.

\n

• Review specimens to determine appropriate processing or disposal.

\n

• Scan requisitions and transport specimens to the appropriate laboratory departments.

\n

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

\n

\n
• Experience performing high-volume, accurate data entry; 10-key experience and average typing speed 40-50 WPM with high accuracy .

\n

• Comfortable handling biological samples and fluids. (Bagged and in containers)

\n

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Outlook and Windows OS.

\n

• Experience working in a lab is a plus but not required.

\n

• Associates or Bachelors degree in a lab science or currently pursuing a degree in a lab science.

\n

\n

\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, repetitive computer work, and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs.
