Job DescriptionHourly Pay Range:
$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Lab Assistant -Gross Room
• Location: Elmhurst Hospital 155 E. Brush Hill Road
• Full Time 1.0 FTE
• Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm; Every other Saturday 6am-2:30pm

Brief Overview: Serves as a Gross Room Assistant, supporting the Pathologist in the gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand instructions and make judgments
• Attention to the detail and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical vocabulary
• PREFFERED: Minimum one year of previous clinical lab experience in a gross room.
