Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Kitchen Compliance Manager for a food production facility in Bloomfield, CT.

Pay Rate: $85,000–$100,000/year (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible | Travel Required

Duties: The Kitchen Compliance Manager ensures the facility meets all regulatory, customer, and SQF certification requirements. This role oversees food safety, quality assurance, and compliance systems to protect product integrity, maintain audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee HACCP plans, validation, and verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, FDA, USDA, FSMA, and other regulations.
• Manage SQF and other GFSI-recognized certification programs.
• Oversee allergen control, sanitation verification, and environmental monitoring.
• Act as primary contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and manage audit documentation.
• Provide FSQA and SQF training for employees.
• Lead cross-functional food safety and quality meetings.
• Mentor kitchen staff to build a strong food safety culture.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure readiness for 3rd-party inspections.
• Investigate customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage documentation, SOPs, and records related to compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing compliance, food safety, or quality.
• SQF Practitioner, PCQI, and HACCP certifications required.
• Knowledge of GFSI schemes, FSMA, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and WMS/Gold systems.
• Must be able to travel as required.
