Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking a Junior Systems Integration Engineer (Infrastructure & Security) to join our team in an entry-level role designed for recent engineering graduates. This position offers hands-on experience supporting the design, implementation, and deployment of real-world infrastructure systems across aviation and transportation projects.

In this role, you’ll work directly with engineers and field teams to support system integration, participate in site-based activities, and contribute to the delivery of complex low-voltage, communications, and security systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to apply their technical education in a practical, project-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support system implementation and project operations across infrastructure projects
• Assist with requirements gathering and stakeholder coordination
• Participate in site visits to assess systems and operations
• Support system performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization in real-world environments
• Assist with deployment of communications, low-voltage, and security systems
• Support system testing and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot issues and support project teams with solutions
• Create reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or similar
• 0–2 years of experience (internships, school projects, or entry-level roles welcome)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn technical systems and tools
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

(Nice to Have):

• Engineering or technical degree (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
• Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or design/build projects
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or Procore
• Interest in systems integration, operations, or project management
• Entry-level certifications (EIT, CAPM, etc.)
