Collaborate seamlessly with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure coordinated engineering solutions.

Conduct design reviews and quality control measures on outputs from junior team members.

Attend site visits for feasibility studies, inspections, and construction-phase support.

Participate in technical and project meetings; assist in conveying engineering solutions to both internal teams and clients.

Enhance internal workflows by proposing improvements in tools, processes, or documentation approaches.

Your Profile

Essential:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Around 2 years of hands-on experience in structural design, including use of analysis tools (e.g., Tekla, SCIA, SAP2000, IDEA Statica) and CAD/BIM technologies (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Solid understanding of structural design codes for various materials within the UK regulatory framework.

Excellent analytical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and methodical problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with confidence in report writing and client/team engagement.

A proactive, collaborative professional eager to learn and grow.

Desirable (not compulsory):

Experience or awareness of sustainability metrics such as embodied carbon or material efficiency.

Experience working in multidisciplinary project settings with exposure to clients and contractors.

Progress toward, or completion of, professional accreditation (ICE, IStructE Chartership).

What You’ll Gain

Clear career support through structured feedback, CPD opportunities, and mentorship for Chartership.

Exposure to a broad range of project types, including commercial developments, residential schemes, infrastructure-related builds, and refurbishment projects.

An inclusive and flexible working culture, with hybrid arrangements available from their Manchester office.

Competitive benefits package, including pension, performance-related incentives, and access to training and professional development.
