Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated person to join our growing team. This position will coordinate the activities of an integrated software development team, working with product development teams to create development plans, and ensure the development process enables the rapid delivery of custom solutions with high quality.
How you will make an impact as a Junior Software Project Manager:
- Responsible for breaking the roadmap into milestones, epics, and stories, maintain prioritized backlogs as projects evolve
- Coordinates activities of the product software development team with other cross-functional teams (ie. Systems, Hardware, Cloud, Test, and Quality)
- Ensuring projects meet milestones and quality measures in a timely manner by quickly identifying and removing roadblocks, maintaining design control and compliance with the quality system
- Contribute to the development of project-level documentation including project plans, requirements, technical design descriptions, test reports and cybersecurity deliverables
Skills you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical project leadership
- 3+ years hands on experience developing distributed systems, cloud experience
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models, DevSecOps
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
