Job Title: Junior Service Technician\nLocation: Heathrow Airport\nEmployment Type: Permanent\nSalary: £24,000 – £27,000\nShift: Nights\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Service Technician to join a successful team at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in engineering, with full training provided and no prior experience required.\nPlease note this is on permanent nights, on a 4 on 4 off basis.\nApplying applicants are required to have electrical experience.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Carry out routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems\n * Assist senior technicians with fault-finding, repairs, and operational support\n * Work safely and efficiently within Heathrow’s engineering and operational environments\n * Complete maintenance reports and documentation as required\n * Follow company and airport procedures to ensure compliance and safety standards\n * Develop your technical skills through on-the-job training and mentoring\nRequirements\n * A qualification in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Engineering (Degree or NVQ Level 1–2)\n * Strong aptitude and passion for engineering\n * Willingness and ability to learn new skills\n * Basic Mechanical and Electrical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)\n * No previous industry experience required – full training will be provided\n * Reliable, proactive, and keen to build a long-term engineering career\nWhat We Offer\n * Competitive salary of £24k – £27k\n * Permanent role with career development opportunities\n * Full training and support to help you grow into a skilled technician\n * The chance to work in a unique and exciting airport environment\nHow to Apply:\nIf you’re ready to kick-start your engineering career, please submit your CV and a brief statement on why you’d be a great fit for this role
