Project Manager – Building Services & Facilities Management\n\nSalary: £55,000 + Overtime + Career Development\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading Building Services and Facilities Management organisations as a Project Manager. This role is responsible for the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of Facilities Infrastructure (FI) and Capital Planned Maintenance (CPM) projects while ensuring continuity of Business as Usual (BAU) operations.\n\nThis position offers strong long-term career development within a dynamic and technically complex environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Leadership & Delivery\n\nLead FI and CPM projects, ensuring a no-risk operational approach throughout all stages\n\nManage installations to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and technical drawings\n\nOversee commissioning activities, ensuring works are witnessed, verified, and formally signed off by stakeholders\n\nAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing site engineering infrastructure, supporting Client Services and Project Design teams\n\nProject Coordination & Documentation\n\nReview, manage, and maintain all project documentation across installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases\n\nCoordinate project activities with BAU operations to minimise disruption\n\nManage project variations, ensuring all changes are approved and controlled in line with contract and governance procedures\n\nMaintain daily communication with CS FI and CS CPM teams to ensure alignment and progress\n\nContractor & Asset Management\n\nMonitor contractor performance against project programmes, identify risks, and advise on mitigation\n\nProtect and maintain the integrity of existing client assets, systems, and sites throughout project execution\n\nSkills & Attributes\n\nStrong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues under pressure\n\nHighly organised with excellent planning, coordination, and time management abilities\n\nClear and confident communicator, capable of working autonomously\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and resourceful with a strong sense of accountability\n\nService-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement\n\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel\n\nExperience using CAFM systems for project, asset, and works planning\n\nKnowledge & Experience\n\nSolid understanding of the building services and facilities management industry\n\nHealth & Safety qualification (essential)\n\nMinimum five years’ post-training experience in a relevant technical or project delivery role\n\nExperience working in corporate head office or large commercial environments\n\nProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders independently and within large account teams\n\nFlexible approach to working patterns to meet client and building operational requirements\n\nCore Competencies\n\nPerformance & Delivery of Results\n\nLeadership, Teamwork & Collaboration\n\nEffective Communication\n\nFlexibility & Enthusiasm\n\nContinuous Improvement & Change Management\n\nProactive Leadership & Accountability\n\nAdditional Competencies\n\nProblem Solving & Decision Making\n\nSelf-Management\n\nCreative Thinking & Innovation\n\nPlanning, Organisation & Project Management\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary of £55,000+\n\nOvertime opportunities\n\nClear career development and progression\n\nOpportunity to deliver high-impact projects within a leading UK organisation
