Junior Project Manager

Staff Force is looking for a driven, detail-focused Junior Project Manager for one of our clients to support commercial HVAC and sheet metal ductwork projects. This role is primarily in-office, with occasional travel to project sites or partner offices. You’ll help coordinate the moving parts of each project—ensuring timelines are met, documents are organized, and communication flows smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC and sheet metal ductwork projects
- Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and senior PMs to prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules
- Maintain accurate project documentation and tracking logs
- Coordinate with field crews to ensure proper material deliveries and manpower alignment
- Review construction drawings and specifications to verify project scope and compliance
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams
- Attend project meetings (in-person or virtual) and provide detailed recaps and follow-up actions
- Assist in managing project budgets and tracking job costs
- Remain primarily in-office to handle project administration; occasional travel required
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or mechanical/HVAC industry (including internships)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or ductwork layouts is a plus
Skills:
- Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or project scheduling tools
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is helpful but not required
