Role Overview
The Junior Project Manager will support the Executive Project Manager and cross-functional teams in driving U.S. expansion initiatives. This includes overseeing vendor relationships, coordinating project deliverables, managing timelines, and assisting with financial workflows especially disbursements and crypto/fiat payment tracking.
The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, decentralized environment, with strong organizational and communication skills. Financial acumen and accountability are crucial, as you may be directly involved in handling transactions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination

Assist the Executive Project Manager in planning, tracking, and delivering U.S. expansion projects.

Support daily project operations, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-border teams across Africa, the U.S., and other regions.

Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and documentation for leadership review.
Financial Support & Disbursement Tracking

Assist in managing vendor invoices, reimbursements, and expense reports.

Track crypto and fiat payments in alignment with company policies (Schedule D).

Maintain accurate financial records to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

Support disbursement of funds under supervision, ensuring timely processing within 24 hours of clearance.
Risk & Compliance

Ensure adherence to company policies, U.S. regulations, and Synergie’s security protocols.

Participate in background and vendor verification processes.

Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and leadership.

Provide timely project updates to stakeholders.

Support onboarding of new vendors and clients, ensuring seamless integration into operations.
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

1 year of experience in project coordination, financial administration, or related roles.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and documentation skills.

Familiarity with digital tools (Google Workspace, Trello/Asana, Slack, Excel).

Basic knowledge of financial processes (invoicing, disbursements, expense tracking).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Exposure to fintech, blockchain, or crypto payment systems.

Experience working in a remote or decentralized organization.

PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification (a plus, but not required).
Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of financial tracking and disbursement reporting.

Timeliness in supporting project milestones.

Quality and clarity of documentation delivered to leadership.

Ability to maintain vendor satisfaction and compliance with payment policies.

Demonstrated growth toward independent project ownership within 12–18 months.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $,600 – $7,500/month (based on experience
