Job Title: Junior Product Design Engineer

Location: St Albans

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum



We are seeking a Junior Product Design Engineer to join a dynamic and creative design team based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role to further develop their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.



Responsibilities:



Create and develop detailed product designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.



Assist in concept development, prototyping, and design validation.



Prepare technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.



Collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and deadlines.



Support ongoing projects from initial concept through to final delivery.



Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design presentations and visual documentation.



Requirements:



Degree or equivalent qualification in Product Design, Mechanical Design, or Industrial Design.



1–2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role.



Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.



Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.



Excellent communication and teamwork skills.



A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
