Picture this: You arrive at our Hawthorne, CA apparel-printing facility and join a friendly, hands-on crew that keeps our presses humming. You’ll start with walk‑through inspections, checking for anything that could slow production. As jobs run, you’ll assist senior technicians with adjustments, swap parts during scheduled upkeep, and help troubleshoot mechanical or electrical hiccups. You’ll document what you touch, keep your area tidy, and jump in on new equipment installs as we expand. Throughout the day, you’ll learn the ropes of the textile industry while contributing to a fun, collaborative operation dedicated to high-quality printed apparel.
What you’ll do
- Support preventive maintenance and basic repairs on screen and digital printing machinery to keep output consistent.
- Perform routine inspections to spot issues early and avoid downtime.
- Assist senior techs with diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.
- Record maintenance work, parts used, and repair notes accurately.
- Help with setting up and installing new equipment when needed.
- Follow safety procedures, and maintain an orderly, clean workspace.
- Work closely with teammates to refine processes and boost equipment efficiency.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; any technical coursework or maintenance certification is a plus.
- Curiosity about machinery and a strong willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical concepts.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving production environment and adapting as priorities shift.
- Attention to detail and solid problem-solving habits.
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
- Exposure to manufacturing or maintenance is helpful, but not required.
- Electrical aptitude or interest in developing electrical troubleshooting skills.
