THE ROLE
The Insights Exec/Junior Planner role sits in our central Studio team, made up of Planners and Creatives. The Studio works across all three agency divisions and supports the Growth team on new business and marketing.
As an Insights Exec/Junior Planner you’ll support insight research and analysis across categories, brands, audiences and culture. Your work will inform creative strategies, client campaigns, and thought leadership, ensuring our work is insight-driven and culturally relevant.
Accountabilities
- Insights Research: Conduct insights research for clients and new business opportunities, supporting the Creative Planner with observations and write-ups.
- Trend Awareness: Keep on top of cultural and social trends shaping consumer behaviour, and share these across agency teams.
- Agency Tools: Become proficient in using agency insight tools (social listening, media monitoring, consumer research, SEO insights for Digital PR).
- Reporting & Measurement: Support campaign measurement using agency frameworks and tools, ensuring insights are data-led and commercially relevant.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to cultural/trend-led thought leadership articles, reports for clients and the agency.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify useful insights for brands.
- Some experience using online research platforms (social listening, consumer research, media monitoring, search trends) to interpret and present data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to write-up and present interesting insights for brands.
- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and confident in working with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in campaign measurement and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience writing thought leadership or commentary pieces.
- Knowledge of social analytics tools and reporting platforms.
- Experience in SEO research/search-led data e.g. Google Trends, Ahrefs
- Previous experience in a communications, PR, or creative agency environment.
