Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer (Assembly & Test)

Company: Lynx Labeling Inc.
Location: Glasgow, KY (on-site)
Compensation: $22.50–$35.00/hr (hourly; overtime-eligible)
Growth Path: High performers may transition to a salaried position with benefits.

About the role
Join our assembly team building and testing industrial equipment used in food processing. This is a hands-on role where your engineering mindset directly improves product quality—and can grow into future design and manufacturing work.

What you’ll do

• Assemble and test mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to spec
• Troubleshoot issues, run functional checks, and propose design improvements
• Read/interpret drawings, prints, and basic wiring/schematics
• Document builds, test results, and field feedback for engineering
• Support equipment installs/start-ups (occasional travel)

What we’re looking for

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with hand/power tools, measurement, and safe shop practices
• Reliable, motivated, detail-oriented; able to follow procedures and stay organized
• Nice to have: coursework/experience in ME/Mechatronics/EET, basic CAD, or exposure to PLCs/sensors/low-voltage wiring

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (normal business hours)
• Occasionally after-hours/weekend support for installs or troubleshooting
