JOB - Junior Mechanical Engineer\nLOCATION - Leeds\nTERM - Permanent\nSALARY - £25,000 to £38,000 per annum (plus benefits)\n\n Premier Engineering is working with an engineering company based in Leeds who are looking to hire a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support both their design and production teams.\n\n The Junior Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nA degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (HND, HNC, BEng, etc.)\n\nExperience using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and technical drawings\n\nHands-on experience or interest in CNC machine programming using Alphacam\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes including machining and fabrication\n\nGood problem-solving abilities and attention to detail\n\nStrong communication skills and willingness to learn and develop\n\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nThe Junior Mechanical Engineer role will involve:\n\nSupporting the design of components and assemblies using SolidWorks\n\nProducing engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation for production\n\nProgramming CNC machines using Alphacam for production operations\n\nCollaborating closely with production teams to support manufacturing activities\n\nAssisting with process improvements and new product development\n\nEnsuring designs are cost-effective and meet customer requirements\n\nIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations
