Junior Engineering Technician

We are looking for a practical and motivated Junior Enggineering Technician to support a team of engineers across a range of site-based activities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has completed an apprenticeship and is looking to further their technical skills through real-world experience.

You will work directly with a project and service teams, assisting in day-to-day tasks on-site including cable pulling, equipment mounting, basic terminations, and general installation duties. You’ll also help with documentation and learn how to interpret technical drawings, making this an excellent starting point for a long-term career in engineering

Jon Responsibilities:

* Assist engineers during the installation, commissioning, and servicing of BMS and control systems.

* Support with routine maintenance activities, including sensor checks, cable terminations, and control panel inspections.

* Learn to interpret control schematics and panel drawings under guidance.

* Observe and eventually contribute to fault finding and basic diagnostic tasks.

* Ensure good housekeeping on site and strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures.

Requirements:

* Recently completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or similar)

* Basic understanding of control panels and electrical installations

* Willingness to travel to various sites as required

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Clean driving licence (or working towards it)
