About Us:
Blvd Electric is a leading electrical subcontractor specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Project Manager & Estimating Assistant to join our growing team. This hybrid role will support both the Project Management and Estimating departments and offers an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical knowledge and hands-on construction experience to advance their career.

YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD OR POSITION.

Position Overview:
As a Junior Electrical Project Manager & Estimating Assistant, you will support the estimating team in preparing competitive bids while also assisting the project management team with managing projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a background in electrical construction, including experience reading electrical plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and managing project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of electrical estimates, including reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with subcontractors/vendors

• Work closely with the project management team to help monitor project progress, ensure timelines are met, and maintain project documentation

• Manage and track material and labor costs on projects

• Review and analyze electrical plans to identify potential issues and provide recommendations

• Communicate with field personnel to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues on-site

• Track and assist with project budgets, change orders, and RFIs

• Help with scheduling, procurement, and coordination of resources

Required Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical construction or estimating

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction terminology, and plan reading

• Experience in project management, estimating, or as a junior engineer in the construction industry

• Familiarity with construction management software and tools

• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, or similar)

• Knowledge of project scheduling and procurement

• A background in junior electrical engineering or relevant technical certifications
