Well established local 3 NYC electrical contractor seeks experienced Electrical Estimators with 2 years experience for their growing business. Commercial estimating experience is REQUIRED. Projects: airports/interiors/healthcare/stadiums/warehouses

Salary up to $120k including union benefits

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate electrical estimates.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect costs.

• Review and interpret RFPs, RFIs, and addenda.

• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.

• Evaluate and identify value engineering options to reduce project costs without compromising quality.

• Collaborate with Senior Estimator

• Maintain an up-to-date cost database and historical pricing records.

• Support contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns.

Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, ConEst, McCormick).
