This position is responsible for the effective monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination of a portfolio of solar PV systems and supporting infrastructure. The role involves active collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure peak performance and full compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Compensation Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Electrical Engineer
- Own the daily monitoring of solar system performance using SCADA and third-party platforms.
- Triage alerts and anomalies, investigate root causes remotely, and coordinate resolutions with technicians or vendors.
- Manage the work of subcontractors and internal technicians for inspections, repairs, and testing.
- Maintain and improve preventive maintenance schedules, inspection protocols, and SOPs.
- Coordinate and document regulatory compliance activities, including environmental permitting and safety audits.
- Take full ownership of CMMS updates, including scheduling, dispatch, and recordkeeping.
- Perform desktop troubleshooting to identify trends, inefficiencies, or emerging issues.
- Manage recurring administrative tasks such as reviewing invoices and compiling reports.
- Draft, revise, and manage O&M documentation, including training materials and technical memos.
Qualifications for the Junior Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a similar field.
- 0–3 years of engineering or operations experience in the solar, utility, or infrastructure space.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems methodically.
- Familiarity with solar PV systems, monitoring platforms, and maintenance workflows is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, or CMMS platforms is a plus.
