Junior Electrical Design Engineer\n\nLocation: London (3 days office / 2 days home)\n Salary: £30,000\n Benefits: To be confirmed\n\nA growing building services consultancy is looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to support their London-based design team.\n\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career who is looking to develop within a supportive consultancy environment.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will assist in producing electrical designs and supporting senior engineers across residential and commercial projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist with electrical building services design work\n\nSupport production of drawings using CAD software\n\nCarry out basic lighting calculations using Dialux or Relux\n\nAssist with preparation of technical documentation\n\nSupport compliance with British Standards and UK regulations\n\nAttend internal design meetings and assist senior engineers\n\nRequirements\n\nBasic knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD )\n\nFamiliarity with Dialux or Relux\n\nUnderstanding of the 18th Edition (BS 7671)\n\nBasic understanding of Fire Alarm Design Systems\n\nRelevant qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or working towards)\n\nStrong willingness to learn and develop\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior engineer to gain hands-on experience and grow within a structured design environment.\n\nersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
