Job Title: Junior Design Engineer\nLocation: Peterborough\nSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum\n\n We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join a growing engineering company based in Peterborough. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their design skills and gain hands-on industry experience.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nProduce 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks\n\nSupport senior engineers with design and development projects\n\nCreate and update Bills of Materials (BoMs) and technical documentation\n\nWork with production teams to ensure designs are accurate and practical\n\nContribute to new product development and continuous improvement activities\n\nRequirements:\n\nProficiency in SolidWorks (essential)\n\nDegree, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline\n\nFull UK driving licence (essential)\n\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\n\nGood communication and teamwork abilities\n\nIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply or contact Charlotte White at (url removed) for more details
