Junior Construction Estimator in Mesa

Job DescriptionJob Description

The Junior Construction Estimator supports the preparation of accurate, competitive cost estimates for construction projects. This role reviews project plans, gathers pricing information, and collaborates with project teams and subcontractors to help develop bids and budgets.

POSITION STARTS AROUND $25/HOUR BUT ONCE UP AND RUNNING CAN MAKE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER PAY WITH BONUSES.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope of work.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and preliminary cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, quotes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bid comparisons, cost analysis, and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
• Update estimates as project plans, costs, and scope requirements change.
