Position Summary:

Plans and designs manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety. Create, maintain, modify, and review technical drawings, and ensure drawings and designs adhere to established specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

 

1. Plan, design and implement production processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety

ReRe2. Coordinate production processes by supporting the creation of bill of operations, work instructions, and providing all manufacturing related information

3. Support optimization projects to improve quality outcomes, reduce production costs, and shorten cycle time 4. Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions

5. Support our 3D Printing work cell by creating print nests, troubleshooting machine errors, and coordinating repairs with our outside service vendors.

6. Assist in design review of existing and new products; develop 3D models and drawings, quality plans for new products, and product drawings and specifications

7. Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to existing products and processes

Requjired Skills & Capabilities:

· Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical and/or Manufacturing)

· 1 - 3 years of experience in Manufacturing field or in a related area

· 1 - 3 years of experience using 2D & 3D CAD Software (preferably Solid Works)

· Knowledge of manufacturing principles (Lean/Continuous Improvement) and processes.

· Experience in sheet metal fabrication (Laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, CNC equipment) highly desirable

· Experience in additive manufacturing (3D printing with nylon material) highly desirable

· Demonstrated Analytical, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills

· Demonstrated Project Management Skills; ability to take a project from concept to implementation

· Proficient computer skills including general business software (i.e., MS Office, etc.)

· Able to work effectively as an individual, or as part of a team

· Able to take initiative and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

· Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changes and assume new responsibilities

· High level of Integrity and Professionalism
