McCree is looking for a Jr. Estimator to join our team! The Jr. Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

¨        Assist Project Manager and superintendent with their projects.

¨        Follow all company estimating policies.

¨        Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists.

¨        Create and maintain company data base of pricing and cost analysis.

¨        Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing           bids, soliciting vendors or subcontractors to bid on projects, and determine the most cost effective bid proposals.

¨        Conduct studies to develop and establish standard hours and related cost data to effect cost reductions.

¨        Visit job sites prior to preparing estimates.

¨        Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals, to discuss and formulate estimates and to resolve issues as directed by the                         supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

 Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Technical Requirements:

Computer literate, utilizing all McCree software proficiently.

None

Hours:

Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and be available during normal office hours and job hours that may vary depending upon other established duties and responsibilities and any additional time as required to meet goals and objectives.
