Reports to: Senior Estimator

Position Summary

Were looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Estimator to support our estimating team in preparing accurate cost proposals for construction and maintenance projects. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their construction estimating career, with strong math skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing material quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and scopes.
• Help review bid documents, specifications, and subcontractor quotes.
• Organize bid forms, scope sheets, and proposal documents.
• Support estimating team in bid tracking, scheduling, and vendor communications.
• Work with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Help maintain historical pricing databases and subcontractor/vendor contact lists.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct occasional site visits.

Required Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in construction estimating or related role (internships accepted).
• Familiarity with reading construction plans and specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to PlanSwift or Bluebeam a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree in construction, engineering, or related field .

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $55,000 $80,000/year (depending on experience)
• Full-time, non-exempt
