Journeyman Lineman

Electric Utility Distribution Construction Manager / Field Rep
Location: Berwyn , PA 19312
2 Year plus contract assignment / renewable every 2 yrs.

Overhead and or Underground Electric Distribution Projects.
Our client is looking for candidates with work experience and leadership in Utility Electric Distribution Construction. This is primarily for a Construction Field Rep / Oversight person well qualified in Electrical Distribution work to oversee large and small construction projects.
You will work on and be assigned to either Overhead or Underground projects depending on your expertise and project needs.
Knowledge and experience with electric distribution construction, ex foreman, supervisor, crew lead or Journeyman lineman.
Requires experience and knowledge in Construction or Maintenance of utility Distribution projects. Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Site Supervisor, Superintendent, Construction Field rep, Journeyman Lineman, Crew Leader, First Line Supervisor, journeyman Electrician, Foreman, supervisor, etc in the Utility industry pertaining to Transmission and Distribution are a good fit.
Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates on project status.
Looking for qualified experienced Distribution professionals with field experience leading to a Construction Management role to manage outside contractors/vendors with ability to understand electrical Distribution construction top down. LOTO certified, OSHA 30, and Distribution Experience will be considered for qualification.
Construction project management with experience in managing a distribution construction site with knowledge about Distribution installation projects. Some duties include: Provide constructability feedback during design and walk downs, Review Bill of Materials and assist with managing material availability, Develop work scope for construction bid documents and assist Project Manager in bid evaluations, Responsible for the coordination and oversight of all construction activities involved in a project; Coordinate contracted work activities for the projects during installation, monitor contractors on safety, cost, quality and schedule performance, Run safety briefings with contracted construction crews.
Will need cellular phone, air card (Internet), Base PPE (Class E Hardhat , Safety Glasses, FR Clothing, FR Safety Vest, Steel Toe Work Boots).
