Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team, providing excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using various tools and techniques.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to design and build HVAC systems tailored to client specifications.
• Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members on field service tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Execute welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design and installation.
• Experience in field service roles, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
• Welding experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
