Lighting Maintenance Inc. ("LMI") is seeking aService Electrician for work in and around Harmans Maryland. Work will consist of maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical & lighting systems.Our work is in two general settings Commercial & Government. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses Current drivers license
• Must have or will obtain a DOT card
• Education High school Graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent training
• Journeymans License (not signed into a J-card)
• Must have completed and show proof of 4-5 apprenticeship program
• Electrical experience 5 years minimum
• Experience running crews

• MUST be willing to comply with scheduled emergency service
• Must be able to troubleshoot effectively
• Blueprint experience
• Bucket experience or be willing to be trained
• Experience operating equipment but is not required
• Experience completing daily job tickets
• Required to do DVIR/JHA daily

SKILLS:

• Positively identify colors of conductors
• Comprehends reading of blueprints and schematics
• Use of all power tools
• Capable of digging trenches and comfortably using hand tools or power equipment
• Practice and comprehend safe work procedures, as outlined in the company Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-com Policy, and Lockout Tagout Policy
• Operate two-handed tools such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jackhammers.
• Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmissions
• Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions
• Operate and work from personal lifts, gas or electric powered

    Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoes, lift trucks in a safe manner

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, overtime and night shifts as required.

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• Lift 51 pounds.
• Climb ladders of all types.
• Complete overhead work for full days assignments.
• Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
