About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing construction and property development team. This hands-on role will support the electrical installation and maintenance needs of both our new developments and existing properties. The ideal candidate is licensed, dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial buildings

Interpret and follow electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams

Ensure all installations are completed in accordance with local, state, and electrical codes

Coordinate with project managers and construction crews on project timelines and job requirements

Troubleshoot issues and perform diagnostics using appropriate tools and techniques

Ensure job site safety and cleanliness, adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies

Mentor apprentices and support training of junior team members

Accurately complete work logs, inspection reports, and job site documentation
What We're Looking For

Valid New York State Journeyman Electrician license
-
Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential or light commercial electrical work

Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew

Comfortable working outdoors and in various field conditions

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

A passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and quality
Bonus if you have:

Experience with energy-efficient systems, solar integration, or smart home technologies

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Familiarity with multifamily housing projects
