DuCros Electrical Contracting Design is actively seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team! Location: Projects throughout Orange County
Schedule: Full-time | Competitive Pay | Growth Opportunities

Position Overview:

As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll play a key role in installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential electrical systems in accordance with and local electrical codes. You’ll be expected to lead by example, support safety initiatives, and contribute to the productivity and success of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including conduit, panels, lighting, and controls

• Pull wire, bend conduit, and terminate wiring in control panels, receptacles, switchgear, and more

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and single-line diagrams

• Mentor apprentices and support team efficiency

• Ensure compliance with DuCros Electrical safety policies and all applicable codes

• Communicate effectively with foremen, team members, and site personnel

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Journeyman or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, magnetic induction, and three-phase systems

• Ability to read blueprints, layout systems, and work independently or as part of a team

• Familiarity with NEC codes and standard electrical practices

• Proficient with tools of the trade and safe work procedures

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform repetitive tasks while wearing a tool belt

• Ability to kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working at heights using lifts or booms
