Compensation: $26 – $40 per hour (plus job bonuses)

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Electrician at InLine, you will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for transportation infrastructures. From traffic signals to intelligent transportation systems, you’ll ensure our solutions run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Installations: Install, service, and repair electrical components (data conductors, conduits, pull boxes, poles, foundations, grounding, surge protection) to maintain operational excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Lead apprentice electricians, providing training and oversight on complex installation and maintenance tasks.
  • System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and promptly resolve electrical and control issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed work logs, shift communications, and relevant reports.
  • Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to diagnose advanced issues, conduct field tests, and implement technical improvements.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician License/Card. IMSA Level II Traffic Signal Technician certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: 4+ years in electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Education: Associate degree in Electrical Services or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading technical documents, safety protocols, and maintenance instructions; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Driver’s License: Must hold a valid license and be eligible to obtain a CDL Class A or B.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel, work weekends, or overtime as projects require.
  • Physical Capability: Able to stand, sit, stoop, lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Safety Focus: Work in various conditions (adverse weather, high-traffic areas, confined spaces) while following stringent safety standards.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 -10 hour shifts
  • Pay: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour (plus job bonuses)
