Joinery Estimator

Our client a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end commercial and residential joinery sector in the UK is currently looking for a Joinery Estimator to join their team as soon as possible.



The role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for prestigious joinery projects within the commercial and residential building sectors.



Key Responsibilities:



Site visits

Attend tender meetings

Produce detailed quotations and tender returns based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements

Liaise with internal departments (design, production, and contracts) to ensure clarity and accuracy in costings

Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

Assist with project handovers to the delivery teamIdeal Candidate:



Previous estimating experience within interior joinery sector

Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications

Commercially astute with good numeracy and attention to detail

Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Experience using estimating software or Excel to compile BOQs and take-offs
