Job Running Architect \n Birmingham \n£31,500 - £50,000\n\nOur client, a well-established and an AJ100 practice with multiple offices across the UK, is seeking a talented and proactive Design Architect to join their Birmingham team. Known for delivering high-quality solutions across a wide portfolio, they are particularly active in the industrial and logistics sectors.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Architect with a passion for functional design and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a collaborative team, contributing to major industrial projects from concept through to delivery.
With projects spread across the UK, this role offers , autonomy, and the chance to work closely with high-profile clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities for this Job Running Architect role: \n\nCollaborate with team members to deliver design work to tight deadlines\nTranslate client briefs into creative, practical design concepts\nConduct site visits to assess context and inform design decisions\nPrepare masterplans that reflect both client goals and site potential\nProduce feasibility studies to support informed client decisions\nCompile planning submission materials aligned with local authority requirements\nCoordinate with in-house visualisation teams to produce high-quality imagery\nAttend early stakeholder meetings to shape project direction\nLead the creation of Design & Access Statements and planning documentation\nDevelop tender-stage drawings, maintaining design integrity through technical and commercial changes\nProduce detailed design work primarily using Revit, with some use of AutoCADRequirements for this Job Running Architect role: \n\nExperience leading projects, ideally in the industrial or commercial sectors\nStrong proficiency in Revit with hands-on experience delivering projects (candidates will complete a Revit assessment as part of the interview process)\nExcellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships\nConfident working independently while also contributing to team efforts\nReceptive to feedback and committed to continuous professional development\nHigh standards of accuracy and attention to technical detail\nClear and effective written communication, supported by well-presented drawingsIf you are looking to take the next step in your architectural career and work on impactful projects within a respected practice, this could be the role for you.
