Responsibilities Empower AI: As the Audio Visual Fabrication Engineer - Senior, you will be a key member of the Empower AI team supporting Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCOE is the U.S. Army’s force modernization proponent for Cyberspace Operations, Signal/Communications Networks and Information Services, and Electronic Warfare (EW), and is responsible for developing related doctrine, organizational, training, materiel, leadership/education, personnel, and facility solutions. A major aspect of the CCoE’s mission is the training, education, and development of world-class, highly skilled Signal, Cyber, and EW professionals supporting operations at the strategic, operational, and tactical level. You will be part of a team that provides IT services support to all of the CCoE’s training and administrative platforms inclusive of but not limited to Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF), System Administration, Server Administration, System Engineering, Virtualization, Web Development, Automation, programming/coding support, continuity of operations, and Service Desk functions. These services support approximately 24,000+ end points consisting of physical and virtual servers, access points, wireless controllers, switches, and routers that provide classroom as a service using technologies such as VDI-MILS and Virtualization Technologies. Highlights of Responsibilities:Manages schedules and performs maintenance on electronic media equipment. Researches and implements procedures to reduce support overhead of AV systems Develop, organize and maintain standard operational procedures (including regular maintenance requirements) and workflow processes and procedures for AV systems. Create and maintain system and customization documentation for testing and validation of the AV systems.Ability to Design and develop audio, video and data conferencing solutions using Audio, Video and UI components such as Crestron/AMX control systems.Install, test and support Audio and Video control systems both onsite and remotely.Works with the Network Architecture group to provide design and architectural recommendations as it relates to AV systems.Must possess an in-depth knowledge of installation, operation, scheduling and support of desktop and conference room VTC systems in a secure government or military environment including ISDN, Inverse Multiplexers, CODECs and H.320/H.323 protocols.Must possess a working knowledge of TEMPEST standards and IA concerns for multi-classification multimedia systems.Experience with Tandberg/Cisco systems installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to install control system hardware and download control system source Code.Ability to troubleshoot existing source code.Ability to download, troubleshoot, and create DSP configurations.Provide VTC Administration by deploying, STIGing, operating, patching, maintaining, and monitoring the CCoE G6 VIS system\ VTC systems and perform basic troubleshooting and support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS VTCs.
